What you are consenting to
When you affirm this consent during account creation, you authorize MyDocDay to collect, store, use, and otherwise process the information you choose to provide for the purpose of creating your account and providing MyDocDay's healthcare organization and follow-through features.
Age and authority
You must be at least 18 years old to create a MyDocDay account and provide this consent. If you enter information for another person, you also confirm that you are authorized to organize or manage that information.
Information covered by this consent
This consent covers:
- Your name, email address, password, city, state, and profile image.
- Provider and clinic names, specialties, phone numbers, and locations.
- Appointment titles, providers, dates, times, time zones, types, locations, recurrence, preparation details, rescheduling links, and notes.
- Appointment-review outcomes, review and snooze status, replacement appointments, and post-visit action items.
- Health-action and reminder titles, reasons, notes, due dates, due times, completion status, and related providers or appointments.
- Medication names, schedules, notes, reminder settings, and related providers that you choose to enter.
- Care information and optional profile images you enter for family members or dependents you support.
- Technical account and session information needed to secure and operate the service.
- Notification preferences, time zone, device platform and name, push token, notification events, read status, and delivery results when notifications are enabled.
Some of this information may reveal or relate to health conditions, treatment, healthcare relationships, or other sensitive personal matters even when you do not enter a diagnosis directly.
Why MyDocDay processes it
We process this information to organize and display your care plan, identify what needs attention, connect appointments and providers with related health actions, support post-visit reviews, organize medication schedules you enter, maintain your account, deliver reminders you enable, support features you request, protect the service, respond to you, and improve reliability. We do not use this consent to authorize medical diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, medication-safety evaluation, clinical monitoring, clinical decision-making, targeted advertising, or the sale of your care information.
Medication information is not medical advice
Medication names, strengths, forms, instructions, statuses, schedules, days, and times are provided by the user for organization and reminders. MyDocDay does not independently verify those entries and does not recommend a medication, dose, frequency, timing, start date, stop date, or instruction.
MyDocDay does not check interactions, allergies, contraindications, duplications, side effects, or whether a medication is appropriate. Pausing a medication in MyDocDay pauses its organizational record and reminders only; it is not an instruction to change treatment. Follow the medication label and guidance from your qualified healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Service providers
You understand that MyDocDay uses service providers to operate the product, including Vercel for application hosting, private image storage, and website analytics, and Neon for managed database hosting. When you enable mobile notifications, Expo processes the device push token, notification content, and delivery information needed to deliver those messages. These providers may process information on our behalf as described in the Privacy Statement and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Information about other people
If you enter care information for another person, you confirm that you are authorized to organize or manage that information and to provide it to MyDocDay. This may include authority as a parent, guardian, caregiver, or another legally permitted role. Do not enter another person's information if you do not have that authority.
Optional device permissions
This consent does not automatically grant access to your device photo library, calendar, notifications, or maps application. MyDocDay will request applicable device permissions or wait for your action when you choose to use those features. You can decline or later revoke those permissions through your device settings, although the related feature may stop working.
Notification messages use general wording by default. If you separately choose detailed messages, the notification title and body sent through the push provider may contain care information and may be visible on your lock screen. You can change that preference or disable notifications at any time.
The app-lock PIN and certain display preferences are stored locally in protected device storage. The app-lock PIN is not sent to MyDocDay's servers.
Voluntary consent and withdrawal
Creating a MyDocDay account is voluntary. Because processing account and care information is necessary to provide the service, you cannot create or continue using an account without consenting to that core processing.
You may withdraw consent by requesting account deletion. Withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal and does not prevent limited retention when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal claims.
Your acknowledgment
By affirming this consent, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Data Consent, the Privacy Statement, and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy; understand the types of information involved and the purposes described above; and consent to that processing. MyDocDay may record the date and version of the consent you accepted.
